Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-01
KanakkuPaar ("the service") is billing and stock software for small shops, provided by inaivu IT ("we"). By using it you ("the shop") agree to these terms.
1. What the service does
- Records bills, products, stock, cash drawer entries, credit given to your customers and simple reports.
- Receipts produced by the service are not GST tax invoices.
- You are responsible for the correctness of prices, quantities, discounts and the records you keep.
2. Payments between you and your customers
- The UPI QR code shows your own UPI ID with the bill amount. Money goes directly from your customer's bank account to yours. We do not receive, hold, process, settle or guarantee any payment, and we are not a payment aggregator or payment gateway.
- You are responsible for the correctness of your UPI ID and for confirming each payment in your own UPI or bank app (or sound box) before marking it received. Do not rely on a customer's screen or screenshot. The amount in the QR is a suggestion and may be changed by the payer.
- Changes to your UPI ID require your password and are recorded in your activity log.
- Credit given to your customers is between you and them. We do not collect it or guarantee it.
3. Service charges
- A monthly fee and a per-bill fee apply as shown in the app (Service balance). Per-bill fees are capped per calendar month.
- Recharges by UPI are credited after we verify the payment. Cancelling a bill returns its bill fee; the monthly fee is not refunded.
- Prices and taxes on our fees are as published in the app. Changes apply to future periods, not past ones.
4. Your account
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity under your login.
- We may suspend a shop for non-payment, misuse or a legal requirement, with notice where practical.
5. Your data
- Your business data belongs to you. You can download it at any time (Shop settings → Download my data).
- How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
- Bill details older than 12 months may be moved to secure long-term storage; totals and balances stay in the app.
6. Availability and liability
- We aim for the service to be available during business hours but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Keep the app open to bill offline during short outages.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the service charges you paid in the three months before the claim.
